5. Watch a Play At the Theatre
The Everyman Theatre was opened in the 1960s. Since then, it has been putting on shows and developing new plays all the time.
Some people started their stage careers at this theatre, including Alison Steadman, Pete Postlethwaite and Julie Walters.
If you want to see touring West End shows, opera and plays, you should go to the Liverpool Empire Theatre.
The Bluecoat is mostly used for contemporary arts and it is around 300 years old.
You should also visit The Royal Court if you would like to watch a play with a local theme and cast.
